Hi, I'm Irene

A practice built with patience, taught with heart.

Authorized Level 2 by Sharath Jois. Thirteen years of practice, eleven years teaching. Eight years running my own studio. Now teaching students around the world.

Where it started

Eight years, one studio, a whole community.

For eight years I built and ran my own yoga studio in Antigua Guatemala. I taught daily, trained teachers, and watched a community grow around the practice. That studio taught me how to hold space for real people with real bodies and real lives.

When my family was ready for a new chapter, I sold it, and we moved to Bali for a life closer to the ocean and to the health and wellness culture we love.

My root

Ashtanga, studied deeply and taught with care.

Ashtanga is my root. I am Authorized Level 2 by Sharath Jois, earned through years of dedicated study in the tradition. It is a rare and demanding path, and it taught me how bodies truly change: through consistency, patience, and steady attention, one small step at a time.

That precision is what I bring to every student, and you do not need an Ashtanga background to feel it in your own practice.

How I teach now

Rooted in Ashtanga, open to movement.

Thirteen years on the mat, and now motherhood, taught me the rest: when to hold structure and when to listen. Some days call for the full practice. Other days, as a woman and a mom, call for meeting your body where it is.

I love movement and what feels good in the body. Discipline and attunement, held together. That is the practice I teach.

What I stand for

How I hold the practice.

Craft over convenience

Real technique, taught precisely. I will never water down the work just to make it easier to sell.

Listen to your body

Structure matters, and so does attunement. We build strength without forcing, and progress without harm.

For every body

Ashtangi or not, beginner or advanced. If you want to move with more skill and less fear, you belong here.

Some days ask for structure. Some days ask for listening. Both are the practice.
